Easthampstead Churchyard
« on: Tuesday 12 March 19 22:41 GMT (UK) »
Hello all, I wanted to know if anyone familiar with the history of Easthampstead, Berkshire.  A relative of mine is listed as being buried in Easthampstead churchyard.   Is that the church that is now know as St.Michael's and St Mary Magdalene?  He was buried there in 1932.   Was there any other church in that village that would have been referred to as Easthampstead Churchyard?   Thanks for any help,

Hi Bert,

The only cemetery listed for Easthampstead on the Genuki site (free and invaluable) is the one you mention.  You'll see from this link that it dates back to the 12th century  :)

CarolA, thank you for telling me about that Genuki website.. I wasnt familiar with it.    Im sure i will make use of it in the future.    That has to be the churchyard that was referred to in the family bible.   Much thanks,  Bert

There is a crematorium/cemetery at Easthampstead Park in Bracknell, Berkshire.
The staff are very helpful there and will answer any questions.

I’ve attacked a link in case this is of use:
