Parents of James A Garrard - 1925 Manchester

Looks like his mother Florence Garrard was actually born 1/12/1893 (birth reg'd Mar.qtr.1894 Chorlton) mmn Shaw, dau. of Edward Ezra Garrard and 2nd wife Elizabeth Shaw married 1881.  Her death reg'd March quarter 1942 Manchester.  (James would have been 16 when his mother died but she may have been ill before then).

Wow thankyou all so much. So it seems his mother's maiden name was Garrard, we assumed that would be his dad's name. This helps a lot thankyou for the info. Birth certificate ordered
