My 3xgreat grandmother Jane Smith married Isaac Tindall in 1871 in Scarboro Parish Church. It was Jane's 3rd marriage and Isaac's 2nd. She was 49 and he was about 42. Isaac was a carter/brickmaker. His 1st wife was Frances, with whom he had at least 2 children, Henry and Christiana.

Keep an eye on http://www.gravestonephotos.com/

They've got lots of Yorkshire cemeteries, and seem to add new ones every week. I've found a few relatives there already

I am related to Tindales and Underwoods in Yorkshire. Joseph Underwood and Mary Elizabeth Tindale are my great-great grandparents. This was Joseph's 2nd marraige, and their youngest daughter, Phyllis Mary is my great grandmother. Her half sister, Alice, married Horace Tonks, a bishop. They had 5 children (my grandmas cousins). Joseph died 28th March 1937. He is buried in St hilda, danby, with his 1st wife. His first wife died 1903, 4 days after giving birth to my grandmas uncle, Tom. Joseph was a joiner and builder. Joseph built Fold Green (20 brook lane) in Ainthorpe, 1901. He lived there for the rest of his life,  so did his 2nd wife, Mary Tindale, who died 1972.  In the photo, Joseph is on the far right. That was when he rebuilt Danby Methodist Church in 1901.
