I am researching my Still and Upton Family, Mary Upton married Mathew in 1861, in Sevenoaks,
I am interested in going further in both families, I think Mary is desended from the Gainsford Family also from Cowden.

I would love to hear from you if you have any info on the families.

Mathew born circa 1842

Mary circa 1845, if she was born in Sevenoaks her mother's maiden name was possibly BISH, but I stand to be corrected

As Rosie says, you need th see who she names as father on the marriage cert.  If it is a Thomas, a farm labourer, then this looks likely for Mary in 1851 :
