Lost Peter(s) family in 1911
« on: Monday 25 March 19 17:11 GMT (UK) »
Alexander Taylor Peters (sometimes transcribed Peter) married Catherine Morrison Whyte in Forfar 1905. They had a daughter, Jane (Jean) born 1906 in Broughty Ferry and a son Alexander Whyte born 1907 Broughty Ferry. Alexander snr was a police constable on marriage, promoted to sergeant before retiring in 1936 so he didn't change career. They lived on Church Street Broughty Ferry (Oakbank) and I believe also at 19, West King Street or Westfield Road?
I cannot find any of them in 1911 in that area. I have checked the rest of Scotland & UK in case they were on holiday or visiting folk.
Any help much appreciated
Oh, Alexander snr born 1881, Arbroath and Catherine born 1882 Forfar

Likely entry for Alexander in the 1915 valuation rolls from the details you have:

ALEXANDER T PETERS
Tenant Occupier
DWELLING HOUSE 19 WEST KING STREET
DUNDEE
1915

Like you, struggling to see them in 1911  :-\
