There is criminal record for alexander. He received six months imprisonment in 1855 for embezzlement.

There are newspaper reports of the embezzlement case in the London Evening Standard of 17 January 1855 (page 4, bottom of column 3) and John Bull of 20 January 1855 (page 13, final column). In both papers the surname is given as Droet.

Matilda is indexed as DRONET and William as DRORIET
