Hi Roots Chatters,

I'm looking for Bridge Warf, Canal Head, Camberwell, Surrey which existed about 1800.  Any ideas where I can locate on a map please.  Daniel.

Start here. It would have been the Grand Surrey Canal.

This site includes a photo of the sign for the wharf

The photo looks rather like Taylors Bridge over the Peckham Branch of the Grand Surrey Canal https://www.flickr.com/photos/dgeezer/46921826082  and on street view   http://www.rootschat.com/links/01nlj/  but it isn't marked on this old map  :-\  ttps://maps.nls.uk/view/103313081#zoom=5&lat=6570&lon=4336&layers=BT
