I have a Rachel Hambling born abt 1813 at Ringsfield Suffolk. Parents William Hambling 1770 – 1850 Mary Barber 1770 – 1855. Can anyone tell me what happened to Rachel. She had brothers and sisters
Noah, Phoebe, James, Jeremiah, Sarah, Samuel, Henry, Charlotte and Lucy.

The spelling can be Hambling or Hembling it is the same family. Thank you.

Hi a Rachel Hembling married a Daniel Stammers 28th December 1835 Ilketshall, St Andrew.

If that is, correct. Then who did Charlotte 1808 - 1846 who is Rachel’s sister marry because Ancestry have documents of Charlotte marrying Daniel Stammers 1787 and having one child William Stammers born 10 June 1830.

Hi again, I would say the William Stamners is the 11 year old in 1841?

If its the same one - there is a slight discrepancy because the Non-Conformist and Non-Parochial Registers, 1567-1970 shows Charlotte Stammers burial in 1846 Ipswich Suffolk was for a Charlotte born 1786 and aged 60 years.........so not born 1808  ???

and daughter Johanna Stammers was born 1827 probably to Daniel and Charlotte - Daniel's wife - Rachel was only 25 years old on the 1841 census.
