for a marriage between Mary Morgan,

If you check the 1871 she is Mary Ann

Have you looked for her on the 1891 to see if she is with her husband?

Hi Carole
I have noted she is Mary Ann on the 1871 and I have looked for her on the 1891 but failed to find her; thought it would help if I knew who she married.

Roy, given the gap between Mary and John and the younger children, i’m wondering if this was a 2nd marriage for mother Rachel and if Mary and John aren’t actually Morgans. Might explain why we can’t find a Mary Morgan - Beavan marriage.

Thanks osprey 😀

In case it helps..... there is a birth in June quarter 1883 in Bedwellty of an Annie Maria Bevan, mother Morgan. She married William Henry Simons in Tredegar on 23 Dec 1903, father James Bevan, collier. Witnesses include an Edmund Bevan. Annie Maria Simons died in Sep quarter 1976, Newport, Mon, date of birth given as 15 March 1883.

Can’t see any other children, nor find Annie Maria in 1891 sorry.
