« on: Sunday 07 April 19 17:25 BST (UK) »
Hi i am having trouble reading what it says on this Liverpool Workhouse Register page and wondered if anyone could help me with it. I think the end part says 26 Wilton street but not sure about the rest.

I'm not familiar with streets in Liverpool, but from a comparison with the rest of the handwriting, it could possibly be Welton Street, and similarly the surname might be Leng.

The extract doesn't have any unambiguous examples of the letter 'i' - where they occur elsewhere, are they dotted?
Researching among others:
Bartle, Bilton, Bingley, Campbell, Craven, Emmott, Harcourt, Hirst, Kellet(t), Kennedy,
Meaburn, Mennile/Meynell, Metcalf(e), Palliser, Robinson, Rutter, Shipley, Stow, Wilkinson

I think it may say B Sing, rather than B Ling.  The first letter is nothing like the fancy L which starts Laurence, and is quite like the S at the start of Scullery.
Perrins - Manchester and Staffs
Honan - Manchester and Ireland
Hogg - Manchester 19 cent
Anderson - Newcastle mid 19 cent
Boullen - London then Carlisle then Manchester
Comer - Manchester and Galway

Have to agree B Sing, especially as I can find no Welton St in Liverpool on NLS maps, however I did find Wilton St, in Everton.

Here are two maps:-
Wilton St. transparency
Use transparency slider to view modern map underneath.

This one was published in 1851.
Wilton St 1851
If you scroll the map up (I.e. Wilton St disappears off the top) there is a 'Parish Workhouse' on Mount Pleasant
Active links are now (after 13/04/2018) indicated by bold red italics. Just click on them.
The only stupid question is the one not asked

WILSON; Lancs, Lanrks.
BERRY; Lancs.
BORASTON; Salop, Worcs,
TYLER; Salop, Herefords.
