Brownless wedding photo circa 1920.
« on: Thursday 11 April 19 21:56 BST (UK) »
Hi there, trying to get a better fix on the date of this photograph. The photograph is annotated on the reverse as 24th December 1924. Does the wedding attire match with the supposed date? Clearly snow on the pavement so December looks possible. The photograph is from a 'box' of old photos from my wife's family - with the surname Brownless. The family lived in the Durham area with many working in the coal mines and the telegraph service ( as linesmen). It is possible that the Groom is Ernest Brownless and his wife Alice Robinson.

The Bride's outfit is certainly of that date.
