Checking the net and came up with a site "Old pictures of Pwlleli Public Group/Facebook" and a snippet (in Welsh) that read -
"Look at S4C's program Casgliad. Mici Plwm with a collection of bottles, one with Victoria Stores, Pwlleli on it, couldn't think where the shop was. Someone in .....".

I don't use social media. Wondered if the question was posed on that site and answered?.

Hi
This is pure speculation on my part but on the corner of Churton Street and The Embankment Road there is a Victoria Hotel, next to it is still a convenience store. I believe these were built in the 1890's when the area was being developed by Solomon Andrews. They appear on the 1901 Census RG13/5265/41/31. the occupants of the store were two widows and their families, one a baker and the other a green grocer.
