Marriage Look Up - Campton-cum-Shefford

Hi. I'm trying to locate Robert Gresham Barber's first marriage. His second marriage was in 1843 to Susannah Smith in Lambeth, London where he was noted as a widower.

Robert was born in Campton-cum-Shefford in 1791 and he may have first married in Bedfordshire somewhere between 1809 and 1843.

Could someone please look up the records to see if Robert did first marry in Bedfordshire?

This marriage in 1811 is for Richard Barber to Lydia Appleby at Bedford St.Paul. 

He was baptised at Campton/Shefford in 1793 & was married as a widower at Campton on 24 July 1827 to Mary Layman spinster & his abode was Newington in Surrey, and he was buried at Campton on 18 Jan 1839 age 46.

Thanks John. This Richard Barber is most probably the wrong one. All the records I have mention his middle name as Gresham or G.

There is NO marriage for Robert in Campton just his baptism 4 /10 / 1791.   The cd covers from 1572 to 1838.

Thank you Bunnygirl for checking Campton. I do have the baptism for Robert, and your info confirms the date. Robert may have got first married in a neighbouring parish.
