Leah Love Leman had a child in 1855 then went on to marry William Senter
Is the baptism of Leah Love in 1842 a repeat of the one in 1833?

The 1833 baptism is for Leah Lowe according to FreeReg.

Leah Lowe Leman.  born 30 Oct 1833, baptised 14 Nov 1833 St Margaret, King's Lynn.

The 1842 baptism is as you say but transcribed as LEMON  there is a note,  "W Briggs, Off. Minister. The entry is faded and difficult to read".

This is strange...

Leah Lemon Dau of Samuel, Phebe Lemon. infant. Burial 9 Oct 1833, St Margaret, King's Lynn.

Same family as baptisms living at North End, Lynn.

I realise the name is either Leman or Lemon in records.  I have studied all the available records and the name Leah Love has been written Leah Lowe (that is working out the hand writing). I am trying to work out if the baptism of Leah in 1842 could be a repeat (perhaps private baptised in 1833 and needed to be public baptised in 1842 when they went to baptise son Samuel who was born in 1836 and found there had not been a public baptism for her in 1833. All the older siblings were baptised within a few days of birth.  As I wrote
There is a Leah born/baptised 6 Feb 1832, died Oct 1833.
There is a Leah Love born 30 Oct 1833, baptised 14 Nov 1833.
The same curate performed both baptisms.
Then there is the entry for Leah Love born 30 Oct 1838, baptised in 1842 performed by an Off Minister.
could it be that Leah Love born 1833 died and I have not found her death?

Just to clarify, 'Off. Minister' is short for 'Officiating Minister'.  It has no particular significance.

Thanks, I thought may have been the case.  But I am still puzzled about all the Leah baptisms.
