Can't post a Census .jpg attachment

Have just typed up post and then clicked on arrow "attachments and other options", chosen .jpg census and nothing to seems to attach.

Any ideas?

Maybe too big?

Did you get message to this effect after hitting Post?

If you did you need to resize and rename it

It looks as if there was probably another file with that name on Rootschat. Files have to be unique - add the date or your initials to it.

Also, site rules, you should only put a small snip of the census up, not the whole page.

You selected the File.... did you also hit Open?

I can select a File..but also need to hit Open before it gets attached

OR  as Gadget posted, there might be a File with same name already posted!!

Thought that if I acknowledged copyright it would be ok. Better just attach snip.

As I have been searching for this ancestor for a while, it may have been uploaded in another post.  OR..... somebody else is interested in Charles Anthony Brown/e TOO!
