a possible for you from freebmds https://www.freebmd.org.uk/
Births July- Sep 1909
PETHERICK    William        Devonport    5b   280

GRO index confirms mother's maiden name for this birth was Curry:

Quote
.         PETHERICK, WILLIAM       CURRY
GRO Reference: 1909  S Quarter in DEVONPORT  Volume 05B  Page 280

Possibly the William Petherick (transcribed Petterick) buried at Dundonald Cemetery in 1987 aged 80 (so age slightly out).

In same plot was an Agnes Petherick,  buried in 1952, aged 48.

An Annie Blakely died in 1943 at her son-in-laws address, being the same address as both of above deaths. Her death notice mentions her daughter and son-in-law, Agnes and William Petherick.

William seems to have married again after Agnes died. A 1983 death notice has a Dorothy Florence Petherick, wife of William and same address as all of above. It mentions , amongst others, a daughter, son and step daughter. Names given, but too recent to post here as could still be living. Funeral was to Roselawn Crematorium.

I emailed the library and they kindly forwarded it to this Heritage Dept. .. needless to say, I was delighted and very pleased with their rapid response. I have learned, over the years, that librarians, especially in smaller places, are quite often very willing to help you.. I wasn't too sure that a large (I presumed) library like the one in Belfast would have the time... but I was certainly wrong about that.

I would think you have the correct William Petherick, (Scotmum). Wondering how you found (or made the connection) to Annie Blakely.. ?

The address made the connection. Same on burial entries and newspaper entries. I have sent you some emails. Hopefully they help.
