I'm looking for any information on Joshua Empsals family. He was born abt 1715,in West Yorkshire, probably Halifax. He married Bridget Taylor in 1734 in Halifax. No idea who his parents were.
Thankyou
Trevor

Hello Trever
I can't see a baptism but I think these are his parents
Joshua Empsall lab and Mary Smith married Halifax 25.10.1716
She was of Hipperholme ,he of Halifax
He was a clothier or cload? /cloth dresser which matches with his son's occupation
Children I can see all father Joshua clothier of Sk't
Mary 8.3.1718
John 14.2.1719
Mary 1.1.1727
Joseph May 1731
Bridget Emsall was buried 1.7.1778 of Sk't

Hello, that's great, thanks. Seems more than likely they are his parents. Should be able to go farther back now.
Thanks again, Trevor
