How have you got such precise dates when you seem to know virtually nothing about the couple?  What is your interest in them - are you descended from one of their children?

Gloucs: Timbrell (Winchcomb)
Hants: Stares (Wickham)
Lincs: Maw, Jackson (Epworth, Belton)

The marriage was to Mary Hays at St Saviour Southwark. Both of this parish. Both signed their names. Witnesses James Hays and Wm West.

:D Thank you ShaunJ and AVM for your prompt attention.

I was given a book to read today -a history of a friend's family. On opening it I thought the initial family list was somewhat sparse with e.g. born Surrey -without no detail of where.Married Mary-Surrey et al.

I have compiled my own Family History in the context of British History and as my grandparents and father were born in Surrey knew their were more details available. At present I cannot access them until I visit the West Aust Genealogical Soc. so was grateful for any details which I shall type up and give to my friend as an insert inside the dust cover.

Much appreciation to you both for your prompt replies.
