Codrington surname is not in the Surname Interests Table

Please add the surname Codrington to the SIT

RootsChat is very much d.i.y. Number of staff is small.

I tried several times but got an error message

Try again later. I got a message when I was making a post that there was a problem and that "RootsChat are aware of it". What time of day/night was it? I think "housekeeping" goes on in early hours BST.
Edit. I've just tested it by adding one of mine. It worked. However when I put the name in the 'Quick search" box to check that the name was there, it wasn't. I then tried 'Advanced search' and found it. Tried 'Quick search ' again but it's not in the alphabetical list.

Maybe you should contact the IT department about this unstable table!

Hi,

It's a while ago since I programmed it, but ....
as far as I remember, it takes too long to compile the names-lists for the Quick-search,
so I only do this every 24 hours. Try again tomorrow, and we'll take it from there ....

Thanks, Bob. It occurred to me after I'd posted that the alphabetical list for Quick search might take longer.
The surname I added is Ullithorne, a new one for the list.

I tried again today to add CODRINGTON to the table but I get an error message:

Either the Member_name or Member_ID is wrong !!

This requires the attention of an IT person.

My new addition is on the list. Mine is the only entry for that name.
