There I am looking for the electoral register for no 3 cumberland road staines middlesex, before or after the WW11,  to see who own the house, my grandfather James gannon was lodging there when he died 13 May 1944 , James was from dublin Ireland,  he was working in england

Do you mean Cumberland Road, Ashford

You should be able to locate that address on the 1939 register, sorry we are not allowed to do look ups on that database

Online electoral registers in 1945 have a Eddie Alexander & Levina M Alexander also Florence G Thompson

Is surrey, the proper registar to look up for ashford middlesex,  I'm not getting cumberland road for levina , I'm getting 23 park hill.

Spelthorne registers which cover Ashford & Staines come under the London directories on Ancestry.

Ashford & Staines were Middlesex they only came under Surrey after the abolition of Middlesex County Council c1965.
