The death record I found doesn't have an age unfortunately

But the birth record I found for is John Ronis so I might have that wrong. I just assumed the spelling was wrong when it was transcribed

It can be a nightmare finding the right births without an age at death.

The 1755 marriage transcript also has - John ROW marries with consent of his mother.
He would have been born around 1743 to have been a minor when he married.

John Roes I found born in Dorset around 1738 include:

John Roe. Father: Thomas Roe. Baptism: 03/04/1738 Blandford-Forum

John Roe. Mother: Grace Roe. Father: Austin Roe. Baptism: 03/09/1735 Marnhull Dorset England

John Roe. Baptism: 16/03/1735 Corfe Castle Dorset England

But then again there's a chance he wasn't born in Dorset!

Sorry I am not seeing a likely candidate either.  If permission for the 1755 marriage was given by his mother perhaps he was illegitimate or his father had died.

The thing is there is a John Row born in Wareham 1750 to a John and Mary Roe.

The only reason this doesn't work is because the marriage between John and Ann has them BOTH as widows.

If John wasn't actually a widow (the transcription is wrong) or he married his first wife in 1766 (age 16) then it would work

The other problem is the accuracy of the transcripts.  There are a couple of variations on the surname of the John who married Mary Bishop.

The John Row that married Anne Hascal was a minor

The only John Row born in Wareham between 1755 and 1731 was born in 1750. Meaning he would have been 5 when he married Anne Hascal which seem a bit unlikely...

What do you think my next steps should be?

It may be worth trying to see if the licence for the 1755 marriage still exists
