Williamson before 1867
« on: Tuesday 03 August 04 13:19 BST (UK) »
I know that Elizabeth Williamson married Thomas Richards in St. Pancras Church on March 31st 1867, and that the address given was Colonnade, Bloomsbury.  (Details from a marriage certificate)  I would like to get further back with Elizabeth and wonder if a look-up is possible.  I've tried the BMD for her birth but there are too many possibilities.
Godden in East Sussex, mainly Hastings area.
Richards in Lea, Gloucestershire, then London.
Williamson in Leith, Vickers in Nottingham.
Webb in Bildeston and Colchester.
Wesbroom in Kirby le Soken.
Ellington in Harwich.
Park, Palmer, Segar and Peartree in Kersey.

Thanks very much, the 1861 household fits the marriage certificate in that her father's name was Andrew.  It looks like Elizabeth was the "Eliza" of the census.

I knew that Andrew was dead by 1867 because of the marriage certificate - I've now found what I trust is the GRO index for his death in 1866, and Ann's in 1876.  I've found an Andrew Williamson's birth which fits on Scotland's People.  Thanks for the kickstart your look-up gave me.
