Charlotte Lane baptism c. 1812 Isle of Wight
« on: Monday 03 June 19 11:31 BST (UK) »
I am wondering if my Lane family (Somerset-based) is connected to the family of Charlotte Lane born IOW c. 1812. I cannot find a baptism, so am unable to work backwards.
She married a James Jeram.
1871 England Census gives a birthplace of Cowes.
Purely interested in working backwards from her, if possible?
This follows a DNA match and shared matches indicate this as a possible surname.

When and where did she wed James Jeram?
What (other names, occupations and residence) appear on the marriage cert?

is this it (as James Jerem)?

Do they ever have visitors or other relatives with them at any time 1841 onwards?

Have looked at Free Reg, Ancestry, Find my Past and Family Search previously.
One of the marriage witnesses is a Samuel Jerrem and the other is a bit illegible Jane ..... (per find my Past).
Have found them on 1841, 1851, 1871 and 1891 census with no Lane's obvious.
Lacking 1861 and 1881 so far.
Hoping someone had a secret source of baptismal records!!! May not exist.
