Michael Gooley and Catherine, and Mary Fitzgerald

Michael Gooley married Catherine Fitzgerald in Chicago, Illinois in 1870.  They were both born in Waterford, Ireland based on the information on their children's birth certificates.  I have no birth dates or parents names for either on of them.  Catherine's sister, Mary came over from Ireland around 1887 when Michael and Catherine both died 3 weeks apart in Chicago leaving 5 children that needed an adult to finish raising them.  On Catherine's death certificate it states that she was 45 years old.  This would put her at being born around 1842.  It also states that she was born in Cork. 
Michael died at age 42 in 1887 too.  This would result in him being born in 1845. 
 
This is all the information I have on them both.

I think the names of Michael's parents were Martin and Alice. if you follow the first link for the Census of 1901 you will see they lived in Portlaw Co. Waterford They were both aged 70 in 1901. I saw in
 a post on Family Search that the eldest of Michael and Catherine's children was called Martin. This suggests to me that Martin was the name of Michael's father as the eldest son was usually named after his paternal grandfather. Martin died in 1902 I got this info from www.irishgenealogy.ie civil Certs. see record below. If you go onto this free site you will see record of death.
