From experience - it will be a lot bigger than you think.
I printed out both my tree and my wife's. Done on A4 sheets (landscape), mine was about 4 ft high, but 18 1/2 foot long. My wife's, over 20 ft wide.
It also took three people to tape it all up. In fairness, one of the three people was a child who was just adding finger pressure at spots to stop the sheets moving.
I then went over the lines by hand with coloured felt tips, so that individual family groups could be identified.
Each persons avatar was only the size of the end of a thumb, but I could have made it as large as 4" x 4", which would have made the tree enormous.
We have a couple of printers locally and I have been quoted between £20 and £40 to have it printed out in one continuous roll - if it is in a pdf.
Size is a problem. Either it is everybody on their hands and knees, getting backache, or 6 ft a time on the dining table.
Since then, new data and people have come to light - I will not be printing mine out again for a good few years.
Good Luck
Regards
Chas
