Please help with identifying a uniformed ancestor

I am trying to confirm that this is the uniform of the Queens Own Cameron Highlanders. I believe the photo was taken in India between 1900 and 1911. The gentleman is named John Ainsworth and I have have a gap in his history for these dates.

The photo seems to match this group taken in India at that time.

Difficult to make out the badge but the sporran appears to match.

Agree, the badge although a little unclear also seems to match.
