Latin (honestly) will of Thomas Crofts 1442
« on: Saturday 15 June 19 15:40 BST (UK) »
The top part seems to be bequests to various churches and it mentions his son Thomas. Apart from that I cannot see any other names.

Date of will & probate would be handy along with any other relevant information.

many thanks

20 January 1442
Thomas Croftes the elder, sane in mind and good memory; soul to Almighty God, etc.; to be buried at the church of the Holy Convent in Bungay, with due permission
Bequests to churches and religious houses at Brampton, Bungay, Westhale, Wymondham, etc.
To Thomas Croftes, my son, all my lands and tenements in Suffolk and Norfolk
Residue to Thomas Croftes, my son, and Robert Cavel, chaplain, my executors, to dispose of as seems best
Dated as above, sealed at Bungay
Proved at Norwich, 25 January 1442, administration to the executor Thomas Croftes; power reserved to Robert Cavel

Presumably the January dates are 1442/43.
