Burial place

Need some help finding gave and hopefully gravestone for JOHN GEORGE WHITE died 17 May 1892 in Bolotwa and Queenstown area. I have seen his death certificate.

Canny find his grave. Any help appreciated. His son in law had been the minister at Bolotwa Mission.

The best online resource  for South African graves is http://www.graves-at-eggsa.org/main.php?g2_itemId=43 where there is an ongoing project to photograph tombstones.

Sadly cemeteries in South Africa are not being well maintained and a lot have fallen into a very sad state through neglect and vandalism so you may not find a gravestone for him

Some people have also uploaded cemetery pics to Billion Graves and FindaGrave so try those as well

Here is a John George White buried in 1934 in Queenstown http://www.graves-at-eggsa.org/main.php?g2_itemId=1232814
