« on: Tuesday 16 August 05 18:45 BST (UK) »
could someone please look on the 1841 cencus for huish episcopi for a james and ann matthews.or just ann on her own.
children likely to be still at home are -
william and charles who were twins born c 1825.
james was deceased by 1843 so ann might be down as a widow

many thanks

Hi Alli,

I've found the following in Huish Episcopi 1841 but not clear if they're yours.
Could Ann have remarried and perhaps been widowed again?

HO107/947 Folio 13 Page 17
Ann Newman 40 Washerwoman
William Matthews 15
Charles Matthews 15
James Matthews 11
Eliza Matthews 8

Debbie
