I can't make out the date for Michael Mordaunts birth. Its from the Irish Civil Register, here is a link to the full page.

I think what looks like a dot over the last letter is actually because some of the ink has vanished in the d.

Thanks Bbart that makes sense, I just couldn't see what it could be twenty is clear to me but the ending had me stumped.

Agree with bbart...

When I find dates which are hard to read, I go through the numbers likely & counting the letters then it becomes clearer or more obvious to work out...

An example...it isn't a number beginning 'F' or 'T' (the 2nd part)!  ;)

Annie
