Ignacy Kolecki and Marya Ruczynska

I am interested in a son of the above couple who married a relative of mine in 1947 in Scotland. I don't have his DoB but his wife was born in 1929. Obviously I can't name them here as they could still be living.

They had four sons between 1947 and 1951, one of whom died in infancy, but there is no trace of the parents or any of the other sons in the records after 1951. I assume that they must either have emigrated or possibly changed their name.

Any clues will be gratefully received.

there is another marriage in 1945 - but father and mother are both S Kolecki - so - are we talking Dundee , Scotland ?

Thank you, and thank you for the extra information by PM, but no, it's not the one who was married in 1945. His family also disappear from the records after the mid-1950s, so must either have left the country or changed their surname.

I can see a death of Stanislaw Glowacki in Leven in 1979, no mother's surname given. There are two marriages of Stanislaw Glowacki in Fife, one in 1950 and one in 1971, so this must be a different person.
