Insecure Connection on National Archives of Ireland
« on: Tuesday 16 July 19 18:33 BST (UK) »
I've been getting Insecure Connection warning page all day on the National Archives, I can see other people are posting links to Census pages and I can open them and do searches from there but I can't get to the page with the list of links along the top with the Will Calendars, Tithe Applotments etc, is this happening to anyone else?
Looks like one of those out of date security certs.

No problems

Give a man a record and you feed him for a day.
Teach a man to research, and you feed him for a lifetime.

If you click on the top left Genealogy link on this website, you will see the insecure message.

Are you trying to go from here??

That is to the old Website where one got Wills, Val Books etc... that Link now brings me to their new webpages here https://www.nationalarchives.ie/ which are far from User Friendly!!

That Link at moment doesn't go to where it went, hence warning!

I think they are two different sites hallmark
There is the 'normal' National Archives site, as you say updated and not at all user friendly
and there is the one that has the census, pension search forms, applotments etc

I did say the one with the census will calendars  applotments etc

Thanks, funny it just seems to be the main page, if you google the others you can get to the search pages for them and work away fine.
