Thomas Forsyth Paterson

I am trying to get more information on Thomas Forsyth Paterson  he was b 26 May 1901 Benhar, Lanarkshire and died 16 Oct 1985 New Machar, he married Helen Kidd in 1932 at the Royal National Missiom,Aberdeen. Going by his Marriage cert and the birth of some of his children his occupation was a Deep Sea Mission Superintendant at Lerwick. I am intrested in finding out more s bout hid career while in Lerwick, how would i be able to get a copy off his record.

The Royal National Mission to Deep Sea Fishermen website has  email and phone contact http://www.seafarersupport.org/svc/charity/107
It also gives phone numbers for their various ports including Lerwick
They may be able to tell you if there are any surviving records for Thomas Forsyth Paterson
