John Needham, County Tipperary

Hello.

I am seeking information on my 3rd great uncle John Needham, he was born about 1825 in County Tipperary.  Possibly in or near Kilbarren.  He married in Ireland Mary, unknown surname about 1852.  They came to the USA about 1855/56.  I am seeking his birth/baptism (Catholic), and his parents names, and siblings.  He does have a brother Patrick Needham born 1830, and possibly a brother William Needham born born March 1848.

Hi Mary Beth,
Kilbarron is the Parish.
I have looked in the Tithe records (1823 to 1837) and Needham's were in Coolbawn, this is the townland.
I search in Ancestry, it's quicker as most of the above mentioned Parish Books are listed.
Go to the above web site, entered by Hallmark, look for Tipperary and look for the Parish of Terryglass.

this page is where Patrick is listed, 2nd Oct 1833, it shows his parents and the address is Belview.
If you type in on google/search Terryglass, Tipperary, map        you will get a map, click on it and it will enlarge, look for Terryglass, follow the road south to Coolbaun, look to the right and you will see Springfield (Borrisokane) this is where Bellview is.

Deaths are from 1864. I would put John Needham, when the list comes up delete john and hit enter, then look on the left for Borrioskane this is the registration district for the area. Then try Nenagh, which is the next area.
