Trying to research Bernard Anthony Mahon (Sept 12 1884) who was born somewhere in Wicklow.  He went to the States when he was about 5 and died 26/5/37.  He married Margaret O Brien in N.J.  Trying to find out anything on his family in Ireland.  Can anyone help here?

he was one month off, closer than a lot I've seen.

This might be Bryan/Bernard's father, but you will need to check what other Mahons were in the area. There could easily be more than one Brian Mahon/Mahan in the neighborhood. But it is the right townland, and the month and year match the 1900 census. His death record in the US might help, if available.

Catholic Parish Registers

Birth 24 May 1854
Baptism 31 May 1854, Dromard and Skreen, Sligo
Bryan Mahan, parents: Bryan Mahan and Honor Marley of Leekfield
sponsors: James Mahon and Bridget [something - maybe "do" for "the same"]
