I am looking for the parents of David Jasper Walker (1918-1990) any help much appreciated.

Use freebmd to find his birth reg which will give his mothers maiden name - Jones

Use freebmd to find his parents marriage which will give their names - 1904 seems likely

Or buy a copy of his birth cert to be certain

His 1939 marriage cert will give his fathers name

his death reg, which isn't on FreeBmd but on commercial sites, gives his date of birth as 7 Jan 1918  which ties in with the march qtr birth registration.

You can find the names of siblings by using the online GRO index, free but you need to register. Search for Walker registrations in Pontardawe with Jones as mother's maiden name. The names of older children will help to find the correct 1911 census.
