1861 census, Walsall....this one will have you beat.
« on: Tuesday 03 August 04 19:33 BST (UK) »
Looking for Henry Spink who was living in Walsall, Staffs in 1861.
The only other information I have is that he had a son 2 or 3 yrs old call William.
Henry was born circa 1836, I think, and was probably a saddler by trade.
Hope someone can help me.

Thanks.  suej.

Hi,

I notice that a "Henry Spink" was Christened on 1st Feb 1835. He was the son of Thomas and Jane Spink of Peal Street, Walsall. Thomas was a Tinner.

regards,

Mark

Hi Pauline

Thank you for the information. I do have this family and I think it could be the one.  The problem is that I can't find out if Williams father was called Henry.  For some reason he is not around, and it does'nt say if Caroline was a widow.

I have got 2 certificates already, for a William Spink,  both mothers are called Caroline, but the fathers are not Henry.

I will keep looking, or keep buying the Certificates.

Many thanks

Sue
