1930 Census shows him as single   1938  married to Mary (c/e?) b1905 Can find no record of marriage
Gravestone for Newton O with same birth  Also shows Lillian B Wilkins bMay 1919 - his wife

There is a marriage for a Newton O Wilkins aged 26 to a Mary Speek/Speck aged 28, on 30th January 1936 at Shelby, Tennessee.

No information on parents.

Tree on ancestry has a second marriage on 24th January 1946 at Jefferson Parish, Louisiana, USA, but wife private.

So when his second wife buried him, she planned to be buried alongside him. But no death date is carved for her. Either she hasn't died yet or she has died and was buried somewhere else.
