The one who died on 17/2/1919 could be the one who has parents Thomas and Lydia and in 1901 was aged 8 living at Bordesley Street, Birmingham and in 1911 living in Small Heath.

The other one that could be mine was 5 years older and in 1901 living Brierley Hill with his parents Alfred and Eliza and in 1911 boarding at Sparkbrook with the Whitehouse family.

Well I will know when I have the certificate.

Yes I will let you all know, because I may still need more help. I wonder where the burnt to death came from.

I'm afraid he isn't.
That one (son of Alfred and Eliza) married Annie Elizabeth Bryant, 28 August 1921, at Christ Church, Sparkbrook.

The Weekly Casualty List (War Office & Air Ministry ) 28 August 1917 has him in their list of wounded.
South Staffordshire Regiment.
Skidmore 10351 F. (Wolverhampton).

Jool gave us the only clue we have.
But it hasn't helped!

Commemorated on the London And North Western Railway Goods Department Wolverhampton District WW1 memorial is a F Skidmore.
https://www.iwm.org.uk/memorials/name/463299

Wolverhampton War Memorials say he was Frank Skidmore, but have no further info about him :(
http://www.wolverhamptonwarmemorials.org.uk/index.php?page=wolverhampton-railway-station

But it may not be the right chap.
As said, we would love to know who he was, when you find out
John
