Her name would suggest she was not born in England or Wales.

Who reported her death?

If her father was surname Allen - was she illegitimate?  What proof do you have that he was her father?

What is your connection to her?

yes rosie 99   her father had died the previous year  the newspaper cutting also says  after a short illness the spelling of tynyrheol is wrong on the burial, the person i am helping has been sent a scrap book  and in that it says after her death she was taken back to the family home  Rockfield house neath abbeybut doesn't give any more info on her her father who is mentioned in the scrap book was col, micheal allen who was the manager of the crown copper works neath abbey before his death 1838 he died at his fathers house in porthcawl  but it doesn't say  any more such as his fathers name etc.
i am  helping a retired clergy man try and find out info on rockfield house and those that lived there  we have got the info back to 1841 which was quite easy as the census to then is available we both live next to where rockfield house was it was demolished in the 1950s  i understand we may never find out about Esperance where she came from and the  circumstances of the different  surnames but hoped someone might come up with something  thank you anyway .
