I am trying to find anyone who knew a George Bateman Harrod, who died, aged 76, in 2008, possibly in Wigton. We know he was born in Sunderland. We don't know if he had any children, or anyone who may have known him. Any info. would be great fully received. Thankyou.

We are trying to find anyone who knew a George Bateman Harrod, who was born in Sunderland, in 1932, and died in 2008. His last known address was in Wigton, Cumbria, but he may have moved back to the North East. We don't know if he had any family or, indeed, anyone who knew him. Thankyou.

Have you got a copy of his will as that may give you some information you don't have.  You can apply for it on the probate web site (£1.50)
