Harmon family wicklow
« on: Wednesday 21 August 19 15:58 BST (UK) »
My Grandmother Mary Josaphine Harmon born 1896 from townland of Ballydonerea (spelling could be slightly incorrect) DED Kilcoole Co Wicklow (from 1901 & 1911 census) married my grandfather William Meehan in 1921 in St Kevins catholic church Dublin

Would love to learn if any family connections still reside in named townland or any area of Co. Wicklow. Thanks.

You have posted in the Donegal forum. Should it be Wicklow?

I did a search of the Irish Government BDM Website as attached

Her Birth was Registered Rathdrum  District.

This gets you mother's maiden name so now one can amend search and look for marriage using year range and if not in same district leave District blank!

One can look for siblings by altering Search years and just use  Harmon   Rathdrum

and look for any marriages up to 1943  deaths to 1968

see  https://www.irishgenealogy.ie/en/civil-records/help/what-civil-records-are-on-line

The Irish Government website is free to use!

https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/civil-search.jsp

There are 3 stages involved as attached  and all part of same website!

Those with Returns Page No  don't have Images yet but one can check back every now and then to see if any have been updated even once every 6 months!

If one knows the names from a Marriage e.g.  "about 1870"  just put Name in, Tick Marriage box and use Year Range 1868 to 1872  leaving District  blank if unknown!

The Captcha and Sign in page are all part of process on the Irish Government BDM website and do not take anyone to any other website!
