Have I accidentally stopped email notifications?

I have a vague idea that I might have clicked on the wrong link in a notification email from Rootschat last week and accidentally stopped emails notifying me of replies on threads that I've contributed to.

I can't seem to work out how to reinstate them!  Can anyone please help?

Try going in to your profile press modify and a list will appear with e-mail notifications you should be able to fix it from there

Thanks for that.  I did what you suggested but still don't appear to be getting notifications.

I'm never quite sure if we're supposed to get email notifications for the Common Room boards - I'm sure I did before but certainly not getting them now. Yet - when I go into that Board, the heading on the top bar is still UNNOTIFY which - perversely - means that I am set on Notify!! Complicated? Probably not - but I'm baffled!!

Do I have to reinstate notification board by board - or is there a quicker way?

When I made the same mistake a few years ago I think it was Sarah fixed it for me, think I used the report to moderator, can't quiet remember just know I didn't fix it myself.

I contacted the moderator who sorted it for me

Better to contact the moderator as others have suggested and they will be able to fix it for you

No - when I click on UNNOTIFY it asks me if I'm sure I want to disable notifications! So, from that, I'd assume my emails must be enabled - but they're not! I've clicked on 'notify moderator' on this thread and asked if whoever it is can help (did it yesterday) but haven't heard anything yet.

The whole thing has me completely bamboozled!!

So all I can say is, if you've replied to any of my posts and I haven't replied, please don't think I'm being rude - I'm just being bamboozled!!

If people have replied to your posts then you should be able to see them in 'new replies' at the top of this page.  I don't have email notifications at all on topics, I just look at the new replies every time I come on here.
