Is there anyone studying the GRIMMER family of Norfolk please ?
« on: Wednesday 04 September 19 16:25 BST (UK) »
Hi

I have a John Grimmer marrying a Mary Edwards on the 7th July 1817 at Cambridge Holy Trinity. There are no signs of a Grimmer birth in the Cambs Baptism Index so I* think he may have come down from Norfolki.  Any help would be much appreciated.

Kid Regards

David

Had a look on familysearch. John Grimer (1 em) born 1791 burial 10 sept 1838. St Andrew, Cambridge. Had married Mary Edwards in Cambridge on 7th July 1817. Possible son, Henry Grimmer, christened 7th oct 1821, Cambridge. Mary Grimer born 1792 burial 28th Feb 1838, St Andrew, Cambridge. Mary Edwards, born 7th Oct 1792 to Thomas & Mary Edwards. christened in St Mary the great, Cambridge, 22nd Jan 1793. Cannot be sure where John was born. Either, Norfolk, Lincoln or Suffolk. A birth of a John Grimmer in Marham, Norfolk is possible.

If Henry GRIMMER is their child, the baptism entry says John was an ostler, of Market St
