It is good value for money. Matching is accurate. Ethnicity estimates are, as the name states, just an estimate. These will continue to be improved as better reference populations are added. If you buy when one of the discounts is being offered you can often get 25% off the normal price.

My Wilsons were in Shilbottle, Northumberland in the late 1600s/early 1700s. My direct line Smiths were on Tyneside, both Northumberland and Durham in the 1700s. I also have several collateral Smith lines in Northumberland.

It depends what you mean by accurate and expensive.

You have not said what you want to get out of it so no one can really tell you if it is going to be accurate.

Why not post what you want to get out of it and then people will tell you if that is possible, or indeed if another testing firm might be better for you as they do not all do the same thing and give results of varying usefulness.
James Stott c1775-1850. James was born in Yorkshire but where? He was a stonemason and married Elizabeth Archer (nee Nicholson) in 1794 at Ripon. They lived thereafter in Masham. If anyone has any suggestions or leads as to his birthplace I would be interested to know. I have searched for it for years without success. Thank you.

Ancestry DNA helps you getting information about your past history. Many people go for ancestry DNA testing as they are more keen to know about their originated race and ethnicity. Accuracy of ancestry DNA testing is considered more than 99% and also not much expensive, only around $99.

Bit in bold.

Sorry to quibble about this but what do you mean by accuracy in this instance and by whom is it considered to be 99% correct?
