Family missing from census and civil registration?

Hi Everyone,

I found a family on RootsIreland that I think might be related. There are Roman Catholic baptismal records for 4 children to John Lees and Mary O'Brien or Brien in Newport, Tipperary;
1) Mary Anne Lees baptized 02 Jan 1899
2&3) Catherine & Hanora Lees baptized 17 Jan 1903 (twins)
4) Ellen Lees baptized 12 Jan 1906

The weird thing is I can't manage to find the family in any other record, which seems weird as they should be on the census and in civil registration records no?

The other two girls also registered as LEE.
Mary Anne is indexed as Mary Lee. 1899 Superintendent Registrar's district of Nenagh.

Looks like they aren't missing from census and civil registration.

So they were known as Lee. I have several female ancestors called Catherine and Honora who were recorded under short versions of their names on some records. Many variants for Hanora/Horora. 
Notice that granny supposedly could read and write in 1901 but couldn't read in 1911. Error in 1901 or failing eyesight by 1911?

Thanks everyone, that was fast! Seems like this family isn't related after all, but it's good to be able to rule them out. Seems like I might need to go back and look through more Lee families trying to find my Lees relatives!

Have you come to that conclusion based on the different spelling of the surname? Spellings changed. Members of a family might have used different spellings even when they lived in the same place.
