Thomas and William Bodill
« on: Sunday 06 October 19 16:14 BST (UK) »
Any information, please, on Thomas Bodill, b. c. 1761, a hatter, and his son William, b. 1794. I have information on William from 1841, so looking for anything prior. In 1841 he was a widowed Customs officer living in Liverpool.

Nothing on William pre 1841 but it might be possible to find information on Excise and Inland Revenue officers at the National Archives, they hold some records.

It looks like the two older brothers continued in the business.
