Thank you again, the advice you have given has helped a lot - I now know that my gr gr grandparents belong Danesfort, Kilkenny.  I now just need to see if I can learn about the area.
Again, thank you :)

Good hunting!

Plenty of help here if needed.

Honora is named as Anne on the following census, I am assuming Honora and Anne are interchangeable.

Your assumption is correct. Other short forms of Honora include Honor, Onny/ie and Nora(h).
I have ancestors Honora/Ann(ie) on both sides of my family.

According to 1861 Census the family consisted of:
Matthew Delaney 40, Anne (Honora) 40, Nicholas 20, Thomas 18, Mary 13, Michael 7, all born Kilkenny and then Margaret aged 3 born in Northumberland.

This would mean that the family moved from Kilkenny between 1854 and 1858.

Thank you for the links - thats great addition to my tree.

Any idea where I can look to find the marriage of Matthew and Honora, which I think may have been around 1840 ish.

Weddings were usually in the bride's parish. If you don't find it in Danesfort, try neighbouring parishes. They are shown on the little map on the parish page. Click on one, then click again on the parish name to get the registers.
