John Barrow (c1775 – 1850) Thornton in Lonsdale
« on: Friday 11 October 19 16:12 BST (UK) »
I am seeking help to trace the origins of John Barrow who married Ann Harrison in Thornton in Lonsdale, Yorkshire in 1802.  He was then age 27 so d.o.b. circa 1775.  He was a widower so it would be helpful to find out about his first marriage.  His 2nd wife Ann died in 1803 and John then married Elizabeth Starkey in 1804, first at Gretna Green and then in Thornton in Lonsdale.  John was a Cotton Weaver and Husbandman.  He lived at Stirra Gap, Mazongill, Ireby, Leck, Tunstall, Gressingham and Newton.  He was buried at Whittington in 1850.
Mackison, MacKessan, alias Maxwell, Forfar, McGeorge, Wallace.

Bowker, Pitpladdy, Barrow, Starkey.
