Thomas Henry Bury
« on: Saturday 19 October 19 16:07 BST (UK) »
I am trying to find information about Thomas Henry Bury born 1894 in Burnley, Lancashire.
He served with 2 brothers, James Andrew Bury, 14th Fld Amb. RAMC, and William Bury MGC
I have conflicting information about Thomas Henry
1. That he served in 10th Bn. The Cameronians (Scottish Rifles) and he died of his wounds in France in 1916.
2. That  he served in the RAMC, the last reliable information that I have is that he was stationed in Torquay in 1915.
Anson, Neville, Cook, Knight, Bennett, Silverwood Strickland

According to Soldiers' Effects Thomas Henry Bury , 17050 Scottish Rifles , left a widow , Mary A. There is a further reference to him in Pension Ledger Indexes which refers to Mary Amelia Bury and Mabel Bury ( possibly a child ).

Does that enable you to rule him out ?

All the information you have given tallies with what I have.
I didn't have the military information on James Andrew.
There is no information on Thomas Henry.
I have a copy of a photograph and article published in 'The Burnley Express' dated 27/03/1915 showing all James A, William, Thomas H and their father
